Sleepy Rose - Woo (Music Video)

Today Sleepy Rose of 2 Chainz TRU Record label released a hit single entitled Woo. For the Big Papito produced banger I teamed up with Sam Green of Rite Media to Co-Direct the music video.
I wanted to bring the lyrics of the song to life by using a familiar movie that relates to its content. Don’t be a Menace to South Central while drinking your Juice in the Hood was a perfect match. Woo is about “sweeping the block” (executing a drive by) and, similar to the original Menace to Society, the final scene of the movie ends with a drive-by shooting.
The way Marlon and Shawn Wayons brought humor to a normally violent situation is what really sold me on this vision. I mean it’s a perfect way to market this song. Along with the music video I did the creative direction for the song including the Cover Art, the lyric video, and the beat remake video. BTS Behind the Scenes coming soon.
