“Good Drank” is a music video I directed for 2 Chainz featuring Quavo and Gucci Mane. The Mike Dean-produced track is on 2 Chainz 2016 mixtape Hibachi for Lunch.

For this visual I took a vintage approach which mirrored the prohibition days. Everything from the vehicles to the wardrobe was from the era. The only difference is that instead of liquor, a purple “good drank” is being dropped off to a piano bar that the artist appear in. This “piano bar” location is actually Escobar, a Bar & Restaurant in Atlanta that is owned by 2 Chainz himself.

The video was released on Jan. 19, 2016. Check it out below and leave a comment.

VIDEO COVERAGE

Director Howard Ross filmed the video entirely in black and white. The only objects that escape the color restrictions are the light purple bottles of liquid that give the track its title.

Directed by Howard Ross, the clip, which mirrors a flickering film reel, looks like it was made many moons ago.
